Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing based in Singapore to lead the marketing efforts in the Asia region for our client, a leading financial services company. This newly created role will play a crucial part in driving the growth and success of their operations by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives.

 

In addition to regular cyclical work like executing a consistent PR schedule, ensuring their email communications are best practice, their events, sales aids, brochures, landing pages, and branded merchandise are efficiently managed. You will also be their eyes and ears in Asia, keeping up to date with their competitors and ensuring our offering and output is consistently ahead of the pack.

 

You will run their LinkedIn channel in Asia, working with the content team in Europe to curate content that will be interesting, and drive follows and clicks to their blog. The ideal candidate for this position should be a creative thinker with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working with external teams and multiple business divisions and has a good eye for detail. You will work with a team of content delivery and group marketing managers to achieve their goals, while also reporting to the Group Marketing Head to establish strategies and measure success.


1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Asia, in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with senior management to define marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.

 

2. Team Leadership:

  • Build a collaborative environment with sales for achievement of company revenue goals.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative marketing culture within the Asia team.

 

3. Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the corporate brand presence across the Asia region.

  • Ensure brand consistency in all marketing efforts and materials.

 

4. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions.

 

5. Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Plan, implement, and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and events.

  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

 

6. Lead Generation and Customer Acquisition:

  • Drive lead generation efforts to support sales and business development teams.

  • Develop and optimize customer acquisition strategies to expand the customer base.

 

7. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives.

  • Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on marketing performance.

 

8. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related discipline (Master preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years proven experience in marketing leadership roles within the financial services industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, digital marketing, and customer acquisition.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Salesforce experience a requirement.
