Software QA/Testing Engineer (Hybrid remote in London)

Our client is a leading software development company in iGaming industry providing full turn-key solutions for game developers worldwide. Successful candidate will belong to a large game engineering community of practice reporting to a Technical Lead.

Job Description

  • Conduct thorough manual testing of the live casino games to identify and report defects, ensuring the games meet the highest quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand requirements, test plans, and project timelines. This role will participate in the planning and design phases of new features, providing input on potential risks and usability considerations.

  • Actively contribute to the development of test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to guide comprehensive testing efforts.

  • Document and track issues found during testing, utilising bug tracking tools and following established processes.

  • Work closely with developers to isolate, reproduce, and resolve issues, ensuring timely resolution and accurate fixes.

  • Maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to iGaming and live casino games, incorporating relevant knowledge into testing practices.

  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, striving for continuous enhancement of testing efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Manual QA, preferably within the iGaming industry or a game studio environment.

  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

  • Experience working with live casino games or online gaming platforms is highly desirable.

  • Solid understanding of bug tracking tools and agile project management methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and provide constructive feedback.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

  • A passion for gaming, especially in the iGaming industry, and a genuine interest in improving the player experience.
